It is amazing how much Carl Jung has influenced psychology in light of the fact that he developed his theories from "spirit guides" or communication with the dead. Sadly, you will find his theories practiced in secular as well as Christian psychology. I would not take counsel from anyone that thinks Carl Jung's theories have any value.
