3 unique sounds will be involved in this event: the Lord’s shout, the sound of the trumpet, and the voice of the archangel. Jesus Christ will give “a shout of command,” just as He did outside the tomb of Lazarus (John 11:43). Those “in the graves shall hear his voice” (John 5:28). 

Some golden daybreak Jesus will come
Some golden daybreak, battles all won
He’ll shout, the victory, break through the blue
Some golden daybreak, for me, for you.

I.e. Jesus will shout the victory, give a victory shout!

The voice of the archangel -- Probably refers to the archangel Michael (see Jude 9). “A shout of command,” “the voice of the archangel,” and “the trumpet of God” may be referring to the same thing—a great acclamation meant to herald the returning King.

The only archangel who is named in the Bible is Michael (Jude 9), who has a special ministry to Israel (Daniel 10:21; Rev. 12:7). According to Daniel 10:13, there is more than 1 archangel; so we cannot be sure that it will be Michael’s voice. At any rate, the angelic hosts will share in the victory shout when Jesus Christ comes.

Another commentator has, "The voice of … archangel —distinct from the “signal shout.” Michael is perhaps meant (Jud 1:9; Rev 12:7), to whom especially is committed the guardianship of the people of God (Da 10:13).

trump of God —the trumpet blast/explosion which usually accompanies God’s appearance in glory (Ex 19:16; Ps 47:5); here the last of the 3 accompaniments of His appearing: as the trumpet was used to convene God’s people to their solemn gatherings (Nu 10:2, 10; 31:6), so here to summon God’s elect together, preparatory to their glorification with Christ (Mt 24:31; 1 Co 15:52).
