As a father, I appreciate it when my children tell me exactly, clearly, honestly what they feel. If they feel sad, I want to know. If they want to say they love me, I dont mind if they say it 100 times on a single breath. Even though I tell whether they are happy or sad, simply by observation, it builds the bond between parent and child when these little ones communicate. Our Father in heaven is no different.
