What is true worship? I will give a simple based answer that stems from my 52 years of first hearing God's Word preached, taught and discussed from the age of 4 years old. His message to me started with the eloquent children's hymn that goes like this: "Jesus loves me, this I know...for the Bible tells me so...Jesus loves me, Jesus loves me.....The Bible Tells Me So!" To me within my heart, mind and soul; these childhood experiences were some of the most impacting and everlasting influences that gave me the understanding of what 'Worshiping God' was really all about! The ever beautiful words, rhymes and prose within so many church hymns and emotional but deeply touching songs in church was so intimately rooted in the process of me learning how to worship our Lord Jesus Christ! God tells us "to sing His praises, to worship Him in song and His spoken word" and "to glorify His name on High, praising Him unto everlasting to everlasting". In order to do this or accomplish true worship of God, is to sing praises unto Him; to Glory in Him, for ONLY He is worthy!" Jesus came to save that which was lost and only He deserves our Worship and Praise. God tells us many, many times in scripture that "He is a jealous God!" Only He is to be praised. God is: "God, the Father; God, the Son and God, the Holy Spirit" and His name Shall be praised and Glorified unto forever and ever." Worship The LORD in Word and Truth and your eternal soul shall be at peace in Him! ~~Andy~~
