It is depend on our own behavior, since we are created as an image of God (Genesis 1: 27) and having a knowledge of good and evil as God is (Genesis 3: 22).

Violating/disobeying God's command is an evil in the sight of the LORD and causes pain, suffering and death to man (Genesis 3: 16-19; 6: 5-7); but for the believers and followers of Jesus, God is good (Luke 18: 19) and a loving One (John 3: 16 - 21).

In all of the 66 books of the Bible are a knowledge of good and evil, it is telling us an interactions of what is good and what is evil in human life throughout the ages.

Is God evil? Is the Bible evil?

Is God evil? Biblically evil is anything that contradicts the Holy Nature of God. Psalms 51:4 What is the nature of God? Read: Isaiah 40 and Job 38-42.

When God created man in His image, He gave man a free Will. Evil is rebellion against God as like in the Garden of Eden. Gen 2:9. God created Adam good and free, but evil started with Lucifer's rebellion against God and continued when Lucifer deceived Eve and Adam in the Garden.

Gen 4:7 God spoke to Cain, "If you do not do well, will you be accepted? And if you don't do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it." That was before he killed Able. Sin is evil. If you add a "D" to evil, it reads Devil.

Evil will be with us even during the Millinium (because of our free Will and Human Nature), but will cease when Satan and his followers are thrown into the Lake of Fire after the Great White Throne Judgement. REV 20:10, although during the 1000 year Millinium the Angel will seal Satan in the Abyes for that duration. REV 20:3.

Jesus told His diciples (John 16:23), "I have told you these things, so that in Me you will have peace. In this world you will have trouble, but take heart! I have over come the world".

Is the Bible evil? We know that the Bible was inspired by the Holy Spirit (who is God), through 40 Godly men and is the inspired Word of God. 2 Peter 1:21. We also know that God is not evil from the paragraphs above and so many books that have been written during the ages

The Bjble was written so that man would know their Creator, Jesus Christ and by knowing Him, you will know God (The Father, Son and Holy Spirit) and know the only Way to Eternal Life, Jesus Christ, who is the Way the Truth and the Life. John 14:16.

If you don't know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and have a personal relationship with Him (God), then you are Anti-Christ, because a person cannot serve two Masters. Matt 6:24. Which Master are you serving?

May the Holy Spirit, the Conforter, teach you all Godly things.

First John 4:8 declares, 'God is love.' 

If that's untrue then it's immoral (evil is merely a Bible word for immoral) for the Bible to declare it. Since the scriptures are said to be 'God-breathed,' that would mean that God is a supplier of immorality (evil). That would make him evil. 

So the answer to whether God is evil is determined by answering whether God is love or not. 

So, what is love? Dictionary.com defines it thusly: a profound tender, passionate affection for another person. John 3:16 states that God loved the world so much that he gave his only begotten Son Jesus, to die for all who would believe in him.

If that's true, then God is the epitome, the personification of love. I mean, who else do we know who has done such a thing?

So is John 3:16 true? That's the question on the floor. 

The same John who wrote John 3:16 wrote this: And the Word (he means the begotten Son) became flesh and dwelt among us, and we saw his glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth (John 1:14).

John says the Father did send the Son, and the Son was glorious, overflowing with grace and truth. 

Can any of this be properly deemed evil? Is it immoral to be told by someone that 'that someone' loves you so much that he is going to give his life so that you can live? Yeah, it is, if he doesn't go through with it!

Well, did he go through with it?

So they took Jesus, and he went out, bearing his own cross, to the place called The Place of a Skull, which in Aramaic is called Golgotha. There they crucified him, and with him two others, one on either side, and Jesus between them (John 19:16-18). 

"He is not here, but has risen. Remember how he told you, while he was still in Galilee, that the Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men and be crucified and on the third day rise." (Luke 24:6,7) (This was uttered by an angel)

The real question is do you believe the record, the Word of God? 

But he answered, "It is written, 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.'" (Matthew 4:4)

So, here's a question: Is bread evil?
