Scripture states Paul went to his kinsmen, the Jew first. Obviously, the Lord had other plans for Paul. Acts 13:46 "Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles". Acts 26:19 "Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision:" Acts 26:20 "But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance." Paul was the apostle to the Gentiles. His God-given responsibility was to bring the Gentiles into a righteous relationship with the God of Israel through the New Covenant which Jesus brought. "For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Messiah Jesus for the sake of you Gentiles – Surely you have heard about the administration of God’s grace that was given to me for you...To me, the least of all saints, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the unfathomable riches of Messiah..." Eph. 3:1-2,8
