God bless you I really agree with you. My husband and I are called to be Evangelist operating in the prophets ministry. The Lord has been showing us and preparing us through getting more involved with getting out there in our communities instead of hiding and serving within the church walls only. Even though it seems as if it is less done I have also been seeing it start to grow. People are tired of just showing up at church and are wondering is God anyone where else besides in a church building? People are shocked to see you at their door asking if they need prayer and someone telling them that they are loved. I'm so blessed to be apart of something that God is stirring up. 

We are in the last days. It's coming soon. But we are not done yet:

Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

We need to get out there! There is a movement happening I see it and I don't want to be anywhere but out there until:

Revelations 1:7 "Look, he is coming with the clouds," and "every eye will see him, even those who pierced him"; and all peoples on earth "will mourn because of him." So shall it be! Amen.

We should keep going till His return!

Just as scripture in Matthew 24:12 tells that; "And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold", the loss of love of many for God has led to this scenario. For it was foretold by Jesus. And many more prophecies have been written about the state of the current prevailing situation. For Paul added his voice to what would prevail during these times (2Timothy 3:1-11). 

Many Christians have indeed created their comfort zones and they don't want anything to do with whatever takes away their earthly freedom. Yet according to Apostle Paul, we must deny ourselves these earthly freedoms so we are able to serve God the way we ought to (1Corinthians 9:19)

The gospel is not everywhere much as it has moved thus far. Much so, there is the need for the harvest. In many places, the gospel has been preached, yet there is need to harvest these souls (Luke 10:2). Many of them are pretty ready to embrace a new life in Jesus. There are actually many areas especially in Africa and Asia where the gospel has been preached, but these areas lack the Churches to nurture these people. But all this is as a result of many people not wanting to engage in anything that antagonizes their lifestyles and patterns.

When you preach of the need to evangelize in every way possible, you will only be met with resistance from many. Many of us will say; my case is worked on, those other people should find a way theirs is also worked on. Some of us indeed go out and evangelize, but we don't do it joyfully, for we view it more or less as a burden. We hardly evangelize with the intent of the love of God. We simply do seemingly much for God so we can get His favor in return in terms of materially rewarding us. Thus, we lack the joy and passion and we end up seemingly doing much but simply out of sheer pressure. Yet to serve God should exceptionally be out of LOVE for and OBEYING Him.

When you mention charity, it is as if you send electric shocks down people's spines. All you get are screams of; "we only have enough for us and our families". The notion that pastors eat our money is very popular today. Not that it is not happening, but we have opportunistically chosen to cling on it as way to avoid standing up to our obligations. Non believers accuse the Church leaders of being cheats and so are the believers. We are pretty oblivious that these are simply the devil's schemes to cripple the work of God. Much as those variances are there, we must understand that whatever we do, we do it for God not human beings. For Jesus walked with Ischariot well knowing he would betray Him and that he was dipping his hand into the collections (John 12:6). For Jesus never gave up on His mission simply because one of the people on His team was not faithful. Moreover, was it only Ischariot to carry the collection bag? Couldn't another Disciple carry it? But Jesus never bothered Himself with what comes of yourself, for it had been about fulfilling His mission, and indeed He did fulfill the mission.

The love of many has indeed waned. Today, missionary work is becoming almost impossible. Nobody want to leave their countries or residences. Church planting is currently viewed as almost impossible. To send someone to pastor a Church in distant villages is given the appearance that you are almost sent in earthly hell.

Dear brethren, much as we could be faced with lots of challenges, just as it is everywhere and in every aspect, let's get up once more and do the work of God. Let us not be convinced that we are helpless and can't do much and how bad things appear is how they should remain. If we set foot in the waters, things will surely miraculously work by the divine power of God. The feeling that; "let them be is not right". The will of God has to be done here on earth as it is done in heaven (Matthew 6:10). Jesus said; Go ye therefore and teach all nations.... (Matthew 28:19). If you are already doing so, please carry on joyfully and passionately.
