Then King Hezekiah rose early, gathered the rulers of the city, and went up to the house of the LORD.
So Moses said to the judges of Israel, "Every one of you kill his men who were joined to Baal of Peor."
And Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground, and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem bowed before the LORD, worshiping the LORD.
Then Hezekiah commanded them to offer the burnt offering on the altar. And when the burnt offering began, the song of the LORD also began, with the trumpets and with the instruments of David king of Israel.
Then all the people departed, every man to his house; and David returned to bless his house.
And it came to pass, when Abraham's servant heard their words, that he worshiped the LORD, bowing himself to the earth.
'and now, behold, I have brought the firstfruits of the land which you, O LORD, have given me.' Then you shall set it before the LORD your God, and worship before the LORD your God.
Give to the LORD the glory due His name; Bring an offering, and come into His courts.
So all the assembly worshiped, the singers sang, and the trumpeters sounded; all this continued until the burnt offering was finished.
Then it shall be for a man to burn, For he will take some of it and warm himself; Yes, he kindles it and bakes bread; Indeed he makes a god and worships it; He makes it a carved image, and falls down to it.
"then you shall say to them, 'Because your fathers have forsaken Me,' says the LORD; 'they have walked after other gods and have served them and worshiped them, and have forsaken Me and not kept My law.
All the people saw the pillar of cloud standing at the tabernacle door, and all the people rose and worshiped, each man in his tent door.
Honor and majesty are before Him; Strength and beauty are in His sanctuary.
They made a calf in Horeb, And worshiped the molded image.
And the rest of it he makes into a god, His carved image. He falls down before it and worships it, Prays to it and says, "Deliver me, for you are my god!"
