But the children rebelled against me. They did not walk in my statutes and were not careful to obey my rules, by which, if a person does them, he shall live; they profaned my Sabbaths. "Then I said I would pour out my wrath upon them and spend my anger against them in the wilderness.
who makes destruction flash forth against the strong,so that destruction comes upon the fortress.
Therefore because you trample on the poorand you exact taxes of grain from him,you have built houses of hewn stone,but you shall not dwell in them;you have planted pleasant vineyards,but you shall not drink their wine.
Therefore he sacrifices to his netand makes offerings to his dragnet;for by them he lives in luxury,and his food is rich.
