Therefore thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: "Behold, I will punish the king of Babylon and his land, As I have punished the king of Assyria.
As God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah And their neighbors," says the LORD, "So no one shall reside there, Nor son of man dwell in it.
"The king of Babylon has heard the report about them, And his hands grow feeble; Anguish has taken hold of him, Pangs as of a woman in childbirth.
"And they shall bear their iniquity; the punishment of the prophet shall be the same as the punishment of the one who inquired,
"even though these three men were in it, as I live," says the Lord GOD, "they would deliver neither sons nor daughters, but only they themselves would be delivered.
'For thus says the Lord GOD: "I will deal with you as you have done, who despised the oath by breaking the covenant.
Their names: Oholah the elder and Oholibah her sister; They were Mine, And they bore sons and daughters. As for their names, Samaria is Oholah, and Jerusalem is Oholibah.
So I spoke to the people in the morning, and at evening my wife died; and the next morning I did as I was commanded.

"As in the days when you came out of the land of Egypt, I will show them wonders."
