And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.
And daily in the temple, and in every house, they did not cease teaching and preaching Jesus as the Christ.
"Our fathers had the tabernacle of witness in the wilderness, as He appointed, instructing Moses to make it according to the pattern that he had seen,
But when they believed Philip as he preached the things concerning the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, both men and women were baptized.
For as yet He had fallen upon none of them. They had only been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
And as they bound him with thongs, Paul said to the centurion who stood by, "Is it lawful for you to scourge a man who is a Roman, and uncondemned?"
because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.
so that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
