Ask a QuestionThen the LORD will go forth And fight against those nations, As He fights in the day of battle.
As they departed, Jesus began to say to the multitudes concerning John: "What did you go out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken by the wind?
"Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!
And although he wanted to put him to death, he feared the multitude, because they counted him as a prophet.
"And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.
"All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats.
"Then He will answer them, saying, 'Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.'
As He passed by, He saw Levi the son of Alphaeus sitting at the tax office. And He said to him, "Follow Me." So he arose and followed Him.
"And it happened, as he sowed, that some seed fell by the wayside; and the birds of the air came and devoured it.
Now they came to Jericho. As He went out of Jericho with His disciples and a great multitude, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the road begging.
And Jesus went into Jerusalem and into the temple. So when He had looked around at all things, as the hour was already late, He went out to Bethany with the twelve.
"Therefore, in the resurrection, when they rise, whose wife will she be? For all seven had her as wife."
"For in those days there will be tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the creation which God created until this time, nor ever shall be.
So it was, that while he was serving as priest before God in the order of his division,
"And if you lend to those from whom you hope to receive back, what credit is that to you? For even sinners lend to sinners to receive as much back.
"And whoever will not receive you, when you go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet as a testimony against them."
"And remain in the same house, eating and drinking such things as they give, for the laborer is worthy of his wages. Do not go from house to house.
"But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was. And when he saw him, he had compassion.
Now it happened, as He went into the house of one of the rulers of the Pharisees to eat bread on the Sabbath, that they watched Him closely.
"Now his older son was in the field. And as he came and drew near to the house, he heard music and dancing.
