Romans 8:10-13

Life in the Spirit

¹⁰ But if Christ is in you, although the body is dead because of sin, the Spirit is life because of righteousness. ¹¹ If the Spirit of _a him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies _b through his Spirit who dwells in you.

¹² So then, brothers, ₁ we are debtors, _c not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. ¹³ For if you live according to the flesh you will die, but if by the Spirit you _d put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.
