Proverbs 4:3-6

A Father's Wise Instruction

³ When I was a son with my father,
_i tender, _j the only one in the sight of my mother,
⁴ he _k taught me and said to me,
_l "Let your heart hold fast my words;
_m keep my commandments, and live.
⁵ _n Get wisdom; get _g insight;
do not forget, and do not turn away from the words of my mouth.
⁶ Do not forsake her, and she will keep you;
_o love her, and she will guard you.
