Proverbs 4:4-8

A Father's Wise Instruction

⁴ he _k taught me and said to me,
_l "Let your heart hold fast my words;
_m keep my commandments, and live.
⁵ _n Get wisdom; get _g insight;
do not forget, and do not turn away from the words of my mouth.
⁶ Do not forsake her, and she will keep you;
_o love her, and she will guard you.
⁷ _p The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom,
and whatever you get, get _g insight.
⁸ Prize her highly, and she will exalt you;
she will _q honor you _r if you embrace her.
