Mark 1:4-5

John the Baptist Prepares the Way

⁴ _f John appeared, baptizing in _g the wilderness and proclaiming _h a baptism of _i repentance _j for the forgiveness of sins. ⁵ And all the country of Judea and all Jerusalem were going out to him and were being baptized by him in the river Jordan, _k confessing their sins.
