Luke 1:76-79

Zechariah's Prophecy

⁷⁶ And you, child, will be called _x the prophet of _y the Most High;
for _z you will go before the Lord to prepare his ways,
⁷⁷ to give knowledge of salvation to his people
_a in the forgiveness of their sins,
⁷⁸ because of the _b tender mercy of our God,
whereby _c the sunrise shall _d visit us _{1 e} from on high
⁷⁹ to _f give light to _g those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death,
to guide our feet into _h the way of _i peace."
