John 17:11-18

The High Priestly Prayer

11 And I am no longer in the world, but o they are in the world, and p I am coming to you. q Holy Father, r keep them in your name, s which you have given me, t that they may be one, u even as we are one. 12 v While I was with them, I kept them in your name, which you have given me. I have w guarded them, and x not one of them has been lost except y the son of destruction, z that the Scripture might be fulfilled. 13 But now a I am coming to you, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have b my joy fulfilled in themselves. 14 c I have given them your word, and d the world has hated them e because they are not of the world, f just as I am not of the world. 15 I g do not ask that you h take them out of the world, but that you i keep them from j the evil one. 1 16 k They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. 17 l Sanctify them 2 in the truth; m your word is truth. 18 n As you sent me into the world, so I have sent them into the world.
