John 1:12-15

The Word Became Flesh

¹² But to all who did receive him, _s who believed in his name, _t he gave the right _u to become _v children of God, ¹³ who _w were born, _x not of blood _y nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.

¹⁴ And _z the Word _a became flesh and _b dwelt among us, _c and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of _d grace and _e truth. ¹⁵ ( _f John bore witness about him, and cried out, "This was he of whom I said, _g 'He who comes after me ranks before me, because he was before me.'")
