Peter's Sermon at Pentecost

⁴⁰ And with many other words he bore witness and continued to exhort them, saying, _x "Save yourselves from this _y crooked generation." ⁴¹ So those who received his word were baptized, and _z there were added that day about three thousand souls.

The Fellowship of the Believers

⁴² And _a they devoted themselves to the apostles' _b teaching and the _c fellowship, to _d the breaking of bread and the prayers.
