2 Peter 3:6-9

The Day of the Lord Will Come

⁶ and that by means of these the world that then existed _p was deluged with water and _q perished. ⁷ But by the same word _r the heavens and earth that now exist are stored up for fire, being kept until the day of judgment and _s destruction of the ungodly.

⁸ But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and _t a thousand years as one day. ⁹ _u The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise _v as some count slowness, but _w is patient toward you, _{1 x} not wishing that any should perish, but _y that all should reach repentance.
