Ask a QuestionAnd I, Daniel, fainted and was sick for days; afterward I arose and went about the king's business. I was astonished by the vision, but no one understood it.
"Which of you convicts Me of sin? And if I tell the truth, why do you not believe Me?
"Do not think in your heart, after the LORD your God has cast them out before you, saying, 'Because of my righteousness the LORD has brought me in to possess this land'; but it is because of the wickedness of these nations that the LORD is driving them out from before you.
For your obedience has become known to all. Therefore I am glad on your behalf; but I want you to be wise in what is good, and simple concerning evil.
Jesus said to them, "Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM."
Then Jesus said to them, "Most assuredly, I say to you, Moses did not give you the bread from heaven, but My Father gives you the true bread from heaven.
Then Jeremiah said, "False! I am not defecting to the Chaldeans." But he did not listen to him. So Irijah seized Jeremiah and brought him to the princes.
Jesus answered him, "If I have spoken evil, bear witness of the evil; but if well, why do you strike Me?"
Now Adonijah was afraid of Solomon; so he arose, and went and took hold of the horns of the altar.
So Jesus answered and said to them, "Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast into the sea,' it will be done.
"That is not so. But a man from the mountains of Ephraim, Sheba the son of Bichri by name, has raised his hand against the king, against David. Deliver him only, and I will depart from the city." So the woman said to Joab, "Watch, his head will be thrown to you over the wall."
And God did so that night. It was dry on the fleece only, but there was dew on all the ground.
And you said, 'I shall be a lady forever,' So that you did not take these things to heart, Nor remember the latter end of them.
"But even now I know that whatever You ask of God, God will give You."
I said in my heart, "Come now, I will test you with mirth; therefore enjoy pleasure"; but surely, this also was vanity.
And God said to him in a dream, "Yes, I know that you did this in the integrity of your heart. For I also withheld you from sinning against Me; therefore I did not let you touch her.
"Then He will answer them, saying, 'Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.'
Then I raised my eyes and looked, and there were four horns.
But as for me, I trust in You, O LORD; I say, "You are my God."
But he who does wrong will be repaid for what he has done, and there is no partiality.
