Ask a QuestionImmediately, in the morning, the chief priests held a consultation with the elders and scribes and the whole council; and they bound Jesus, led Him away, and delivered Him to Pilate.
As soon as it was day, the elders of the people, both chief priests and scribes, came together and led Him into their council, saying,
"Are you not the Egyptian who some time ago stirred up a rebellion and led the four thousand assassins out into the wilderness?"

And they led Jesus away to the high priest; and with him were assembled all the chief priests, the elders, and the scribes.
And when they had mocked Him, they took the purple off Him, put His own clothes on Him, and led Him out to crucify Him.
You in Your mercy have led forth The people whom You have redeemed; You have guided them in Your strength To Your holy habitation.
