Ask a QuestionTherefore because you trample on the poorand you exact taxes of grain from him,you have built houses of hewn stone,but you shall not dwell in them;you have planted pleasant vineyards,but you shall not drink their wine.
Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and for ten days you will have tribulation. Be faithful unto death, and I will give you the crown of life.
But after they had rest they did evil again before you, and you abandoned them to the hand of their enemies, so that they had dominion over them. Yet when they turned and cried to you, you heard from heaven, and many times you delivered them according to your mercies.

"You shall make an altar on which to burn incense; you shall make it of acacia wood.

You were wearied with the length of your way,but you did not say, "It is hopeless";you found new life for your strength,and so you were not faint.
"Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account.
Woe to you lawyers! For you have taken away the key of knowledge. You did not enter yourselves, and you hindered those who were entering."
If with Christ you died to the elemental spirits of the world, why, as if you were still alive in the world, do you submit to regulations -
You shall purchase food from them for money, that you may eat, and you shall also buy water of them for money, that you may drink.
You shall remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt, and the Lord your God redeemed you; therefore I command you this today.
"If you go into your neighbor's vineyard, you may eat your fill of grapes, as many as you wish, but you shall not put any in your bag.
The Lord repay you for what you have done, and a full reward be given you by the Lord, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge!"
You shall overlay it with pure gold, inside and outside shall you overlay it, and you shall make on it a molding of gold around it.
You shall not pervert justice. You shall not show partiality, and you shall not accept a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and subverts the cause of the righteous.
Whereas you were as numerous as the stars of heaven, you shall be left few in number, because you did not obey the voice of the Lord your God.
