Ask a QuestionHerein * is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.
Open rebuke is better than secret love.
A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
But as touching brotherly love ye need * not that I write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another.
Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:

Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.
