Jesus Appears to Mary Magdalene
Now when He rose early on the first day of the week, He appeared first to Mary Magdalene, h out of whom He had cast seven demons.
i She went and told those who had been with Him, as they mourned and wept.
j And when they heard that He was alive and had been seen by her, they did not believe.

And certain women who had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities - Mary called Magdalene, out of whom had come seven demons.
It was Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary the mother of James, and the other women with them, who told these things to the apostles.
When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some doubted.
And their words seemed to them like idle tales, and they did not believe them.
But while they still did not believe for joy, and marveled, He said to them, "Have you any food here?
The other disciples therefore said to him, "We have seen the Lord." So he said to them, "Unless I see in His hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe.
