Jesus Foretells Peter's Denial
p And when they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.
q Then Jesus said to them, "All of you will be made to stumble because of Me this night, for it is written:
r 'I will strike the Shepherd,
And the sheep will be scattered.'
"But s after I have been raised, I will go before you to Galilee."
t Peter said to Him, "Even if all are made to stumble, yet I will not be."
Jesus said to him, "Assuredly, I say to you that today, even this night, before the rooster crows twice, you will deny Me three times."
But he spoke more vehemently, "If I have to die with You, I will not deny You!" And they all said likewise.

And when they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.
Matthew 26:31 - 35
Then Jesus said to them, "All of you will be made to stumble because of Me this night, for it is written: 'I will strike the Shepherd, And the sheep of the flock will be scattered.

But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.
Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise Him; He has put Him to grief. When You make His soul an offering for sin, He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days, And the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in His hand.
Awake, O sword, against My Shepherd, Against the Man who is My Companion," Says the LORD of hosts. "Strike the Shepherd, And the sheep will be scattered; Then I will turn My hand against the little ones.
