Prophecy and Parables
c All these things Jesus spoke to the multitude in parables; and without a parable He did not speak to them,

But without a parable He did not speak to them. And when they were alone, He explained all things to His disciples.
Jesus used this illustration, but they did not understand the things which He spoke to them.
These things I have spoken to you in figurative language; but the time is coming when I will no longer speak to you in figurative language, but I will tell you plainly about the Father.

1 Corinthians 2:7
But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory.
And to make all see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the ages has been hidden in God who created all things through Jesus Christ.
The mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but now has been revealed to His saints.
