In a Judah God is known;
His name is great in Israel.
In Salem also is His tabernacle,
And His dwelling place in Zion.
There He broke the arrows of the bow,
The shield and sword of battle. Selah
You are more glorious and excellent
b Than the mountains of prey.
c The stouthearted were plundered;
d They have sunk into their sleep;
And none of the mighty men have found the use of their hands.
e At Your rebuke, O God of Jacob,
Both the chariot and horse were cast into a dead sleep.
You, Yourself, are to be feared;
And f who may stand in Your presence
When once You are angry?
g You caused judgment to be heard from heaven;
h The earth feared and was still,
When God i arose to judgment,
To deliver all the oppressed of the earth. Selah
j Surely the wrath of man shall praise You;
With the remainder of wrath You shall gird Yourself.
k Make vows to the LORD your God, and pay them;
l Let all who are around Him bring presents to Him who ought to be feared.
He shall cut off the spirit of princes;
m He is awesome to the kings of the earth.

Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised In the city of our God, In His holy mountain.
God is in her palaces; He is known as her refuge.
To take plunder and to take booty, to stretch out your hand against the waste places that are again inhabited, and against a people gathered from the nations, who have acquired livestock and goods, who dwell in the midst of the land.
Therefore it shall come to pass, when the Lord has performed all His work on Mount Zion and on Jerusalem, that He will say, "I will punish the fruit of the arrogant heart of the king of Assyria, and the glory of his haughty looks.
Listen to Me, you stubborn-hearted, Who are far from righteousness:
Consider and hear me, O LORD my God; Enlighten my eyes, Lest I sleep the sleep of death.
Exodus 15:1 - 21
Then Moses and the children of Israel sang this song to the LORD, and spoke, saying: "I will sing to the LORD, For He has triumphed gloriously! The horse and its rider He has thrown into the sea!
You shall be filled at My table With horses and riders, With mighty men And with all the men of war," says the Lord GOD.
"Behold, I am against you," says the LORD of hosts, "I will burn your chariots in smoke, and the sword shall devour your young lions; I will cut off your prey from the earth, and the voice of your messengers shall be heard no more."
In that day," says the LORD, "I will strike every horse with confusion, and its rider with madness; I will open My eyes on the house of Judah, and will strike every horse of the peoples with blindness.
"O LORD God of Israel, You are righteous, for we are left as a remnant, as it is this day. Here we are before You, in our guilt, though no one can stand before You because of this!"
Who can stand before His indignation? And who can endure the fierceness of His anger? His fury is poured out like fire, And the rocks are thrown down by Him.
But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears? For He is like a refiner's fire And like launderers' soap.
"For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?"
And the LORD said to Moses, "Behold, I come to you in the thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with you, and believe you forever." So Moses told the words of the people to the LORD.
1 Chronicles 16:30
Tremble before Him, all the earth. The world also is firmly established, It shall not be moved.
2 Chronicles 20:29
And the fear of God was on all the kingdoms of those countries when they heard that the LORD had fought against the enemies of Israel.
Psalms 9:7 - 9
But the LORD shall endure forever; He has prepared His throne for judgment.
But indeed for this purpose I have raised you up, that I may show My power in you, and that My name may be declared in all the earth.
For the Scripture says to the Pharaoh, "For this very purpose I have raised you up, that I may show My power in you, and that My name may be declared in all the earth.
Ecclesiastes 5:4 - 6
When you make a vow to God, do not delay to pay it; For He has no pleasure in fools. Pay what you have vowed -
2 Chronicles 32:22
Thus the LORD saved Hezekiah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem from the hand of Sennacherib the king of Assyria, and from the hand of all others, and guided them on every side.
2 Chronicles 32:23
And many brought gifts to the LORD at Jerusalem, and presents to Hezekiah king of Judah, so that he was exalted in the sight of all nations thereafter.
O God, You are more awesome than Your holy places. The God of Israel is He who gives strength and power to His people. Blessed be God!
