I WILL praise You with my whole heart;
a Before the gods I will sing praises to You.
b I will worship c toward Your holy temple,
And praise Your name
For Your lovingkindness and Your truth;
For You have d magnified Your word above all Your name.
In the day when I cried out, You answered me,
And made me bold with strength in my soul.
e All the kings of the earth shall praise You, O LORD,
When they hear the words of Your mouth.
Yes, they shall sing of the ways of the LORD,
For great is the glory of the LORD.
f Though the LORD is on high,
Yet g He regards the lowly;
But the proud He knows from afar.
h Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me;
You will stretch out Your hand
Against the wrath of my enemies,
And Your right hand will save me.
i The LORD will perfect that which concerns me;
Your mercy, O LORD, endures forever;
j Do not forsake the works of Your hands.

2 Kings 8:12
And Hazael said, "Why is my lord weeping?" He answered, "Because I know the evil that you will do to the children of Israel: Their strongholds you will set on fire, and their young men you will kill with the sword; and you will dash their children, and rip open their women with child.
Their children also will be dashed to pieces before their eyes; Their houses will be plundered And their wives ravished.
Samaria is held guilty, For she has rebelled against her God. They shall fall by the sword, Their infants shall be dashed in pieces, And their women with child ripped open.
Yet she was carried away, She went into captivity; Her young children also were dashed to pieces At the head of every street; They cast lots for her honorable men, And all her great men were bound in chains.
I will speak of Your testimonies also before kings, And will not be ashamed.
Hear the voice of my supplications When I cry to You, When I lift up my hands toward Your holy sanctuary.
1 Kings 8:29
That Your eyes may be open toward this temple night and day, toward the place of which You said, 'My name shall be there,' that You may hear the prayer which Your servant makes toward this place.
The LORD is well pleased for His righteousness' sake; He will exalt the law and make it honorable.
So the nations shall fear the name of the LORD, And all the kings of the earth Your glory.
Psalms 113:4 - 7
The LORD is high above all nations, His glory above the heavens.
Surely He scorns the scornful, But gives grace to the humble.
For thus says the High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: "I dwell in the high and holy place, With him who has a contrite and humble spirit, To revive the spirit of the humble, And to revive the heart of the contrite ones.
For He has regarded the lowly state of His maidservant; For behold, henceforth all generations will call me blessed.
But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: "God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.
1 Peter 5:5
Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for "God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.
He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
I will cry out to God Most High, To God who performs all things for me.
Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.
