1 Then Job answered the LORD, and said,
2 I know that thou canst do every thing and that there is no thought hidden from thee. 3 Who is he that hides counsel without knowledge? Therefore, I have denounced that which I did not understand, things too wonderful for me, which I did not know. 4 Hear, now, and I will speak; I will ask of thee, and thou shalt cause me to know. 5 With my ears I had heard thee; but now my eyes see thee. 6 Therefore, I abhor myself and repent in dust and ashes.
