Laws About Unintentional Sins
p "But if you sin unintentionally, and do not observe all these commandments that the Lord has spoken to Moses,
all that the Lord has commanded you by Moses, from the day that the Lord gave commandment, and onward throughout your generations,
then if it was done unintentionally q without the knowledge of the congregation, all the congregation shall offer one bull from the herd for a burnt offering, a pleasing aroma to the Lord, r with its grain offering and its drink offering, according to the rule, and s one male goat for a sin offering.
t And the priest shall make atonement for all the congregation of the people of Israel, and they shall be forgiven, because it was a mistake, and they have brought their offering, a food offering to the Lord, and their sin offering before the Lord for their mistake.
And all the congregation of the people of Israel shall be forgiven, and the stranger who sojourns among them, because the whole population was involved in the mistake.
u "If one person sins unintentionally, he shall offer a female goat a year old for a sin offering.
v And the priest shall make atonement before the Lord for the person who makes a mistake, when he sins unintentionally, to make atonement for him, and he shall be forgiven.
w You shall have one law for him who does anything unintentionally, for him who is native among the people of Israel and for the stranger who sojourns among them.
x But the person who does anything with a high hand, whether he is native or a sojourner, reviles the Lord, and that person shall be cut off from among his people.
Because he has y despised the word of the Lord and has broken his commandment, that person shall be utterly cut off; his iniquity shall be on him."

Speak to the people of Israel, saying, If anyone sins unintentionally in any of the Lord 's commandments about things not to be done, and does any one of them.
If the whole congregation of Israel sins unintentionally and the thing is hidden from the eyes of the assembly, and they do any one of the things that by the Lord 's commandments ought not to be done, and they realize their guilt.
Numbers 15:8 - 10
And when you offer a bull as a burnt offering or sacrifice, to fulfill a vow or for peace offerings to the Lord.
Also one male goat for a sin offering to the Lord ; it shall be offered besides the regular burnt offering and its drink offering.
Or the sin which he has committed is made known to him, he shall bring as his offering a goat, a male without blemish.
Thus shall he do with the bull. As he did with the bull of the sin offering, so shall he do with this. And the priest shall make atonement for them, and they shall be forgiven.
Leviticus 4:27 - 28
If anyone of the common people sins unintentionally in doing any one of the things that by the Lord 's commandments ought not to be done, and realizes his guilt.
And all its fat he shall remove as the fat of the lamb is removed from the sacrifice of peace offerings, and the priest shall burn it on the altar, on top of the Lord 's food offerings. And the priest shall make atonement for him for the sin which he has committed, and he shall be forgiven.
For the assembly, there shall be one statute for you and for the stranger who sojourns with you, a statute forever throughout your generations. You and the sojourner shall be alike before the Lord.
The man who acts presumptuously by not obeying the priest who stands to minister there before the Lord your God, or the judge, that man shall die. So you shall purge the evil from Israel.
Keep back your servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me! Then I shall be blameless, and innocent of great transgression.
For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins.
2 Samuel 12:9
Why have you despised the word of the Lord, to do what is evil in his sight? You have struck down Uriah the Hittite with the sword and have taken his wife to be your wife and have killed him with the sword of the Ammonites.
2 Chronicles 36:16
But they kept mocking the messengers of God, despising his words and scoffing at his prophets, until the wrath of the Lord rose against his people, until there was no remedy.
Whoever despises the word brings destruction on himself, but he who reveres the commandment will be rewarded.
