Ezekiel 1

¹ _a In the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, on the fifth day of the month, as I was among the exiles by _b the Chebar canal, _c the heavens were opened, and I saw _d visions of God. ₁ ² On the fifth day of the month (it was _e the fifth year of _f the exile of King Jehoiachin), ³ the word of the Lord came to Ezekiel _g the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by _b the Chebar canal, and _h the hand of the Lord was upon him there.
