A Song of Ascents. Of David.
Behold, how good and pleasant it is
when e brothers dwell in unity!
It is like the precious f oil on g the head,
running down on the beard,
on the beard of Aaron,
running down on h the collar of his robes!
It is like i the dew of j Hermon,
which falls on k the mountains of Zion!
For there the Lord l has commanded the blessing,

In my distress I called to the Lord, and he answered me.
Then Abram said to Lot, "Let there be no strife between you and me, and between your herdsmen and my herdsmen, for we are kinsmen.
Let brotherly love continue.
And you shall make of these a sacred anointing oil blended as by the perfumer; it shall be a holy anointing oil.
You shall anoint Aaron and his sons, and consecrate them, that they may serve me as priests.
You shall take the anointing oil and pour it on his head and anoint him.
And he poured some of the anointing oil on Aaron's head and anointed him to consecrate him.
On its hem you shall make pomegranates of blue and purple and scarlet yarns, around its hem, with bells of gold between them.
On the hem of the robe they made pomegranates of blue and purple and scarlet yarns and fine twined linen.
It shall have an opening for the head in the middle of it, with a woven binding around the opening, like the opening in a garment, so that it may not tear.
And the opening of the robe in it was like the opening in a garment, with a binding around the opening, so that it might not tear.
With great force my garment is disfigured; it binds me about like the collar of my tunic.
A king's wrath is like the growling of a lion, but his favor is like dew on the grass.
Then the remnant of Jacob shall be in the midst of many peoples like dew from the Lord, like showers on the grass, which delay not for a man nor wait for the children of man.
(the Sidonians call Hermon Sirion, while the Amorites call it Senir).
From Aroer, which is on the edge of the Valley of the Arnon, as far as Mount Sirion (that is, Hermon).
Great is the Lord and greatly to be praised in the city of our God! His holy mountain.
I will command my blessing on you in the sixth year, so that it will produce a crop sufficient for three years.
The Lord will command the blessing on you in your barns and in all that you undertake. And he will bless you in the land that the Lord your God is giving you.
By day the Lord commands his steadfast love, and at night his song is with me, a prayer to the God of my life.
