2 耶和华说：“我必把万物从地上完全除灭。” 3 耶和华说：“我必除灭人类、牲畜、空中飞鸟、海里的鱼。我必使恶人跌倒，我必把人类从地上剪除。 4 我必伸手攻击犹大，攻击耶路撒冷所有的居民。我必从这地方除掉巴力所余下的，除掉拜偶像的祭司的名字，以及耶和华的祭司； 5 就是那些在房顶上敬拜天上万象的，那些敬拜耶和华，指着他起誓，又指着玛勒公起誓的， 6 那些转离不跟从耶和华的，不寻找耶和华，也不求问他的。”
