Jesus is God and created the universe. In no way did he have fear. For by Him [Jesus] all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him (Colossians 1:16). In fact, he said "Have courage!" Jesus immediately told them. "It's me. Stop being afraid!" (Matt 14:27)
Hypostatic union is the technical term we use to describe Christ being "fully human and fully divine". Now part of being human is experiencing the full range of human emotions, that includes joy, sorrow, surprise, pain, gratitude, anger, love, relief, frustration, admiration, disgust, curiosity, panic, sympathy, hope and fear. And that is not a complete list. Jesus, being human, experienced all these, including fear and overcame it. And so we can put our trust in him when he says, "Do not be afraid." In times of persecution, there is no better time to be brave than when we are afraid.
The best question of all! If I never ask a question again or answer another one this is the best of all! First; God is Love! 1John 4:8 He never changes. Mal 3:6 So God is always going to be Love, He will never change. John 3:16 declares that His Love sent His Son, Jesus so we might have everlasting life. Second; A son in the natural, has the same DNA as the father. Right? Correct! Therefore, we can deduce that Jesus, God's Son has the same DNA. He is not an adopted son, but the ONLY BEGOTTEN of the Father! Thus we further reason, Jesus is LOVE! His Father is Love, Jesus is Love as well! Third; 1John 4:18 declares there is No Fear in Love! It also goes on to describe what Love does with fear casteth: toss away, to fling with a deliberate hurl, to throw, to scatter abroad, cast down, to fling away as dung Fourth: Mat 12:25 Mar 3:22-25 Jesus plainly stated,"If a house is divided against itself, it cannot stand." Luk 11:17 How can Jesus being Love, have fear (which is of the Satan) and then cast fear of you? One cannot be a devil and cast out a devil. Jesus said," My Peace I give to you! Peace be still. Joh 14:17, Mar 4:39 Fifth; Jesus was the Perfect Lamb Sacrifice of God, He had to be without spot or blemish. Jesus was the slain sacrifice for our sins. Exo 12:5, Rev 5:6, 12 He could not have had a blemish of fear. Otherwise, Jesus could not have been our Savior! He is! Praise His Holy NAME!
Yes, the fear of the Lord is a sign of someone who loves God. I came across this post from my curiosity in Jesus fearing God from Hebrews 5:7 (the word piety or eulabeia in the greek). I have seen in other posts people using Isaiah 11:1-4 as being a place where it implicitly says Jesus (the root of Jesse, Romans 15:12) will delight in the fear of God. Also, Hebrews 4:14-16 should give any believer confidence in knowing that Jesus has been tempted in all things, can sympathize with any weakness we may have and has the knowledge and the power to lead us away from our temptations and fears.
