6 The Lord passed before him and proclaimed, d "The Lord, the Lord, a God merciful and e gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast f love and faithfulness, 7 g keeping steadfast love for thousands, 1 h forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, but i who will by no means clear the guilty, j visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children and the children's children, to the third and the fourth generation." 8 And Moses quickly k bowed his head toward the earth and worshiped.
