It means that He(GOD) is present 'in your midst, standing and ready to rescue you, always there, always available for you. He is there "to call upon His Holy name and guide you into all righteousness while protecting you from the wiles of the devil." He is your 'best friend', He is your 'sharpest guide', He is your 'light that illuminates your every pathway, that with Him guiding and directing your paths, He is and will always protect you.' His love for each and every one of His children is "beyond our physical brain's ability to understand fully".
