Psalm 119:33-40

Your Word Is a Lamp to My Feet

_g Teach me, O Lord, the way of your statutes;
and I will keep it _h to the end. ₁
³⁴ _i Give me understanding, that I may keep your law
and observe it with my whole heart.
³⁵ _j Lead me in the path of your commandments,
for I _k delight in it.
³⁶ _l Incline my heart to your testimonies,
and not to _m selfish gain!
³⁷ _n Turn my eyes from looking at worthless things;
and _o give me life in your ways.
³⁸ _p Confirm to your servant your promise,
_q that you may be feared.
³⁹ Turn away the _r reproach that I dread,
for your rules are good.
⁴⁰ Behold, I _s long for your precepts;
_t in your righteousness give me life!
