John the Baptist Prepares the Way

¹ _h In those days _i John the Baptist came preaching in _j the wilderness of Judea, ² _k "Repent, for _l the kingdom of heaven is at hand."

³ For this is he who was spoken of by the prophet Isaiah when he said,
_m "The voice of one crying in the wilderness:
_n 'Prepare ₁ the way of the Lord;
make his paths straight.'"
