Colossians 3:5-10

Put On the New Self

5 j Put to death therefore k what is earthly in you: 1 l sexual immorality, impurity, m passion, evil desire, and covetousness, n which is idolatry. 6 o On account of these the wrath of God is coming. 2 7 p In these you too once walked, when you were living in them. 8 But now q you must put them all away: r anger, wrath, malice, s slander, and obscene talk from your mouth. 9 t Do not lie to one another, seeing that u you have put off v the old self 3 with its practices 10 and w have put on x the new self, y which is being renewed in knowledge z after the image of a its creator.
