Colossians 3:5-10

Put On the New Self

⁵ _j Put to death therefore _k what is earthly in you: _{1 l} sexual immorality, impurity, _m passion, evil desire, and covetousness, _n which is idolatry. ⁶ _o On account of these the wrath of God is coming. ₂ ⁷ _p In these you too once walked, when you were living in them. ⁸ But now _q you must put them all away: _r anger, wrath, malice, _s slander, and obscene talk from your mouth. ⁹ _t Do not lie to one another, seeing that _u you have put off _v the old self ₃ with its practices ¹⁰ and _w have put on _x the new self, _y which is being renewed in knowledge _z after the image of _a its creator.
