Christ the Wisdom and Power of God

²⁶ For consider your calling, brothers: _m not many of you were wise according to worldly standards, ₁ not many were powerful, not many were of noble birth. ²⁷ But _n God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; _o God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong; ²⁸ God chose what is low and despised in the world, even _p things that are not, to _q bring to nothing things that are, ²⁹ so _r that no human being ₂ might boast in the presence of God. ³⁰ And because of him ₃ you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us _s wisdom from God, _t righteousness and _u sanctification and _v redemption,
