Hebrews 9:14-16

Redemption Through the Blood of Christ

14 how much more will q the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit r offered himself without blemish to God, s purify our 1 conscience t from dead works u to serve the living God.

15 Therefore he is v the mediator of a new covenant, so that w those who are called may x receive the promised eternal inheritance, y since a death has occurred that redeems them from the transgressions committed under the first covenant. 2 16 For where a will is involved, the death of the one who made it must be established.
