The Baptism of Jesus

9 k It came to pass in those days that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized by John in the Jordan. 10 l And immediately, coming up 1 from the water, He saw the heavens 2 parting and the Spirit m descending upon Him like a dove. 11 Then a voice came from heaven, n "You are My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."

The Temptation of Jesus

12 o Immediately the Spirit 3 drove Him into the wilderness. 13 And He was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted by Satan, and was with the wild beasts; p and the angels ministered to Him.
