The bible does not explicitly say that Abraham DID observe seventh day Sabbath. But it doesn't speak to the contrary either. Maybe he did. Maybe he didn't. It is an argument from silence. As I see it, the issue is moot either way since in God’s progressive way of revealing details as time moved along, both Jewish and Gentile believers in Yeshua (Jesus) now know without a shadow of a doubt that Sabbath keeping pleases God ever since it was revealed at Sinai along with the other nine. In point of fact, as 2 Tim. 3:16, 17 pointed out post resurrection, “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.” Surely this includes seventh-day Sabbath keeping.

Sabbath-keeping is prophesied to be enforced during Messiah’s future 1000-year reign from Planet Earth (Isaiah 66:23). Also, since papa Abraham will be among those resurrected to rule and reign with Messiah, he will definitely have a chance to demonstrate to all that he keeps God’s timetable
