⁷ And after there had been much _p debate, Peter stood up and said to them, "Brothers, you know that in the early days God made a choice among you, _q that by my mouth the Gentiles should hear _r the word of _s the gospel and believe. ⁸ And God, _t who knows the heart, _u bore witness to them, _v by giving them the Holy Spirit just as he did to us, ⁹ and _w he made no distinction between us and them, _x having cleansed their hearts _y by faith.
