Group prayer can also be likened to prayer of agreement. Mt 18:19 says... Again I say to you if two of you agree on any thing on earth they ask it will be done for them by my father in heaven. What a powerful promise this is.

Mt 18:20 further says as follows:- For where two or three are gathered in my name, there I will be with them. Therefore where ever believers are gathered together in the name of Jesus, he will be right there with them. Another powerful promise regarding group prayers.

Even the prayer of husband and wife is another great example of importance of praying in group. 1Pt 3:7 says, Likewise, husbands live with your wives in an understanding way, showing honor to the woman as a weaker vessel, since they are heirs with you of the grace of life, so that your prayers will not be hindered. This means that husband and wife praying together in oneness of soul and spirit guarantees un-hindered answers. Another great promise a lot of couples fail to cash in on.

Finally, the one I call the most exciting. Dt 32:30 says one shall chase one thousand and two put ten thousand to fight. God's arithmetic is just amazing. I would have thought that two will put two thousand to flight, but the bible says ten thousand. Let's consider it in terms of demons that cause so much trouble in the earthly realm. Two putting 10,000 demons to flight in prayer and declaration of God's word. What a promise to encourage believers to pray more in group and draw down power and answers from the throne of grace.

Andy 3 photo Andy Mangus I am a Christian since October 1979 & devoted truth seeker.
My short 'on-point' answer is this: Several scriptures emphasize God's instructions on the best way to be as one with HIM and having HIS countenance, giving HIM all glory, Honor and praise is this simple, but direct method: "Where two or more gather together IN MY NAME...There shall I be also"! God covets and honors our requests' asked for, by, in and through our seeking HIS "everything that is Holy and Just in the eyes of The LORD"!

GOD's eternal love For HIS children "flows like rivers of water"!

"Seek ye first The Kingdom of GOD, and all these things SHALL be added unto you".

"Praise GOD that we have a SAVIOR, and HIS NAME is Jesus Christ"!
