What did the author in Philippians 3:4-6 mean that he has more reason for confidence in the flesh?

Philippians 3:4 - 6
ESV - 4 Though I myself have reason for confidence in the flesh also. If anyone else thinks he has reason for confidence in the flesh, I have more: 5 Circumcised on the eighth day, of the people of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews; as to the law, a Pharisee.

Paul is the one speaking these words. Paul is demonstrating how nothing we have, nor any position we have, is of even the least worth in comparison to the knowledge of Christ. Paul is using himself as the example. If anyone had reason to boast about their social status, or their adherence to the law, it would be Paul. He lists his credentials, and then in verses 7-10 goes on to say how those things are meaningless and that what is important is knowing Christ. And anyone can know Christ and be righteous. Philippians 3:7-9 - But whatever things were gain to me, those things I have counted as loss for the sake of Christ. More than that, I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them but rubbish so that I may gain Christ, and may be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own derived from the Law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which comes from God on the basis of faith,
