How can I stop masturbating willfully?

How can I stop engaging in these activities (masturbating and watching pornography)?

First, you should ask the Lord for forgiveness, and ask Him to help you overcome these obstacles.

Really, the resolution to this problem lies within you. Are you willing to give it up? How badly do you want to stop? I'm saying this because I've struggled with these same issues in the past. I actually just gave them up about 5 months ago. It was so hard. I would stop for a while, and then I would go back to doing it again. I would feel so ashamed every time. I was stressed about it a lot because I had to keep it a secret, since I didn't want anyone to find out.

Anyway, I finally came to the realization that it wasn't worth it anymore. It was hindering my relationship with God and with others. It was turning me into someone I didn't want to be. It was going to destroy me if I didn't stop soon. Most of all, by doing it, I was willfully sinning against God and choosing to live in sin, which is a dangerous thing to do.

Therefore, my advice to you would be to trust God to help you and to make a huge effort yourself to stop. God will help you, but chances are He's not going to suddenly take away the urge to do those things. He wants you to try your best to stop and to rely on His strength. He'll get you through it if you let Him. I thought I would never be free. I did it for years. Now, I can happily say I'm free and don't plan to ever go back. It's so much better this way. Hope this helped.

My opinion is to cut all subscriptions from your device and any DVD's that have sexual things, those on a TV. As a believer you don't need even to go there at all. My humble advice is to trust God for help.

Colossians 3:5

So put to death the sinful, earthly things lurking within you. Have nothing to do with sexual immorality, impurity, lust, and evil desires. Don’t be greedy, for a greedy person is an idolater, worshiping the things of this world.
Romans 6:13
Do not let any part of your body become an instrument of evil to serve sin. Instead, give yourselves completely to God, for you were dead, but now you have new life. So use your whole body as an instrument to do what is right for the glory of God.
Ephesians 6:12
For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.

With all sin we need to confess it to the Lord. He already knows all about it, but He wants to hear it from you. The other things is that some things can only be overcome by the spirit of God that lives in us. The flesh cannot overcome the flesh.

The Lord wants us to know that it was His work that got you out of your sin so that you will give Him all the glory instead of taking it for yourself. To many do overcome by a strong will and then boast in their own power to overcome the sin that so often besets us.

Realize that God does have the power to overcome the sin that we have and put it in His hands to do what you cannot do. It may take some time for it to be completely removed, but I believe God is faithful and will remove it.

Confessing our sin is a great relief as we are opening ourselves up to Him who has the power over sin. Remember that He that lives in you is greater than He that is in the world.

Some people struggle with sin but never overcome it because it is Gods business to do what we can not do. When we confess our weaknesses, He becomes strong. The battle is the Lords.

Remember that the Lord is mighty in battle. Most of all when God has removed it and even before, begin to thank Him for what He is going to do. Thank Him everyday for removing the sin. Give Him all the glory and none to yourself because He only has the power over sin.
