Will every saved person go to heaven? That depends on what your interpretation of what saved means. Our interpretation can also come down to the demoninational influence based on what we are taught and believe in. 

There are differing opinions about what constitutes being saved. These vary from being Baptised in order to be saved, being saved by faith alone, obeying the commandments, doing good works, one day your saved but the next day your not because of sin in your life you hand back salvation but when you come back into line your saved again.

Personally I think we have to be very careful in forming an opinion of who is saved and who is not. We are not called to do that. We are called to love people in the way that Jesus called us to. It is Gods right to determine those who are his and those who are not.

Consider the wheat and the tares Mat:36-43. Jesus distinguished those who are his and those who are not but the thing is it not readily apparent to us but it is to God. 

Those of us who have differing views could quote scripture that we think supports our views. We can all be guilty saying that you are wrong and this is the truth and then we can impose those beliefs on those who don't agree or those who are not walking in them (e:g you must be baptised, do good works)

What is the truth? Jesus said I am the truth and I will set you free. 

What did Jesus say about salvation? He said "The only work God requires is to believe in the whom he sent" Jesus said "I must go to the Father so that the Holy Spirit will come to convict you sin of your unbelief in me" 

Jesus said "Those who have been given to me I will never lose, when they go astray I will hunt them down and bring the back"

I do believe that you are saved by faith alone but I also believe that saving faith will bring about fruit. If a person is not displaying fruit (by which I mean the fruit of the Holy Spirit and not works apart from him) then either they lack knowledge in which case we instruct in love. That is to say something along the lines "Your saved by faith because of your belief in Jesus, so let's look at what Jesus says" That is all we can do and continue to do.

My nephew recently got baptized, many years after his confession in Christ. 
I was taking him to a course the church was running over a period of 6 weeks. One night on the way home he said to me "Uncle Bill I want to get baptized but I don't think I'm good enough" I asked why and he said "Because I still sin, I'm a sinner, I struggle with things and I'm worried that I have to give a big testimony" I said to him "If you want to be perfect before you get baptized, then you ain't ever gonna be baptized, but what you need to realize that when you placed your faith in Jesus you were forgiven, and it is God's job to continue the good work he started in you and not yours. And also, you don't have to give a big testimony, all you have to say is I am getting baptized because I believe in Jesus." Praise God three weeks later he got baptized and all he said was "I believe in Jesus that's why I am getting baptized."

I had the opposite with a person who wanted to get baptised but I wasn't sure if believed. So I asked him "Have you confessed with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believed in your heart that God has raised him from the dead and that in doing so you will be saved? He said 'No', I asked him if he wanted to say that in truth, he said 'No'. I told him then that he could not be baptized. It's for believers only. 

So to finish, I believe that in today's church those who say they believe that Jesus is the son of God, who died and rose again then I cannot refute that or judge them if there thoughts are different from mine. Let's look at what Jesus said let's look at want the word of God says and more importantly let us seek to more like Jesus, in our own lives before coming along side others so we can come along side others.

God has a plan for everyone (Isaiah 55:10-11). One must believe that Jesus is who He claims to be (John 8:24). One must repent and change their life ((Luke 13:3), confess before others that you believe (Matthew 10:32-33). One MUST be baptized in water (Acts 2:38) and lastly, live as God's child (Ephesians 5:8).

Ones life here on earth must be acceptable to God before they are promised eternal salvation with God.

Just saying "I'm saved because I believe in Jesus Christ" is only one part of being saved.

Not everyone who has heard the Gospel will respond as the scriptures have directed, but some will take short-cuts for convenience sake.

One must be IN Jesus Christ before receiving eternal salvation, meaning living with God in heaven forever. Just being a believer isn't enough. The same is true of only doing good works.

First let's define what is meant by a "saved person".

Many people when asked if they are Christians will immediately say yes, and again if asked if they had prayed the sinners prayer and maybe even came forward at a crusade all the answers will be a confident yes. But we need to remember what Jesus taught about the sower sowing the seed and the four different types of soil that the seed fell upon. 

In Mat 13:18 ~ The first heart was stoney ground and the devil stole the word of God away, the second was shallow soil and the word of God sprouted immediately but the soil had no depth for roots, and “yet he has no root in himself, but endures only for a while. For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles. (people without spiritual fortitude will be prone to wilt when trials come), the third soil the seed fell on was covered with weeds and “Now he who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful." This is a sterilized growth. We need to seek the fourth ground, “But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.”

So in answer ~ does every "saved person go to heaven? 
I think the answer is a resounding YES! - but remember Jesus said that a tree is known by it's fruit. ~ Mat 12:33

Of course, every "truly" saved person will go to heaven. The statement is formally true; that is, it is true by definition. Part of the very definition of a "saved person" is one who will spend eternity in the majestic presence of their Lord and Savior.

The term “bachelor” is often used to illustrate the concept of a formal truth. By definition a bachelor is an unmarried man. Therefore, the question, “Does every saved person go to heaven?” is akin to asking, “Will every bachelor be unmarried?” Yes! If a man is not married, he is (by definition) a bachelor. Conversely, if a man is married, he does not fit the definition of bachelor.

By the same linguistics and logic, if a person goes to heaven, they are “saved.” If a person does not go to heaven, that person does not fit the definition of one who is “saved.” The bible lists only two possible destinations after physical death: heaven or hell (Matthew 25:31-46). If those who are saved can still go to hell, then what are they “saved” from? If being "saved" does not include the reality of heaven, then the term has no meaning. All who are truly saved will go to heaven.

In Romans 8:28-30 the apostle Paul makes the chain of events necessary for salvation (ordo salutis) crystal clear. God foreknew (elected – Ephesians 1:4); He predestined (providentially order our lives unto salvation – Ephesians 1:5, Ephesians 1:11); He called (opened our eyes and ears through regeneration – John 12:40, John 3:3); He justified (legally canceled the record of our sin, nailing it to the cross – Colossians 2:13-14); and He glorified (sealed us for the redemption of our bodies – Romans 8:23-24 – and seated us in the heavenlies in Christ – Ephesians 2:4-6). The reality that we will one day rule and reign with Him in heaven is so certain that it is just as if we are already there! For those who are saved by His grace, heaven is a “done deal!” (John 14:2-3)

All God’s elect are saved "from" His wrath against our sin and sinfulness (Romans 1:18) and saved "to" eternal felicity with Him in heaven (1 Corinthians 2:9) “by” His grace, “through” the faith He gives us (Ephesians 2:8-9). “From” wrath, “to” heaven, “by” grace, “through” faith. When we understand that salvation is of the Lord from beginning to end (Psalm 3:8, Psalm 68:19-20, 1 Thessalonians 5:9) we have assurance that He who loves us and has gone to such extremes to save us from His wrath will not then forsake us and allow us to perish so that His redemptive work would be in vain.

We are eternally grateful to God our Father that all those who are “saved” through faith in the sinless life, sacrificial death, and supernatural resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ will be blessed to spend eternity with Him in His heaven!

The answer is NO! Here is why:

1. Mat 7:21-23 - Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. 

2. Matthew 25:11-12 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.

Many people who claims to be Christians or "saved", as they claimed, will have the great surprise of their life if they will not start living their lives here on earth according to His will.

Is a profession, a possession? The definition of profession in the dictionary is a variety of meanings, however the 3rd meaning declared is: A declaration of belief in a religion; the declaration or vows made on entering a religious order.

Now, interestingly the 2nd definition is: an act of declaring that one has a particular feeling or quality, especially when this not the case.

The definition of possession is: 1st) The state of having, owning, or controlling something.

Now, again interesting, the 3rd definition is: The state of being controlled by a demon or spirit. 

I find it very interesting that even a human endeavor to define words, actually parallels the Bible.

The Bible says, as already quoted, Matthew 7:21-23, that some will " PROFESS" to call Jesus Lord, but are unknown by Jesus, as His.

The Bible also says, John 3:5, That one must "POSSESS" or be born of the spirit. That is the Holy Spirit.

So, a profession may include a possession or it may just be a statement of feeling that actually in theological terms does not include "saving faith".

I do not believe any human can in a definitive way know any other human's heart. Thus, I believe this verse sums up the verdict : Hebrews 9:27. Let God be the judge and us be concerned about our own profession, if it is true.
